According to the Dongya Daily, the two companies were in contact with price-fixing in Tokyo several times between 2003 and 2011 while supplying South Korea's Samsung and LG Electronics. South Korea's Fair Trade Commission fined Mei Bea 4.9 billion won last year and reported it to prosecutors this year.
"We have not received the information and cannot comment on it," Mbea said. Seiko said, I am not in a position to comment on the prosecution s move. We will continue to do our best to better comply with relevant laws and regulations."
